How I make animatics (how to animate in Krita)

Up until now I've done 3 animatics and some other small animations in Krita and in this video I'll share my process and things I learned along the way; I'll also mention how I use blender, sims 4 and magic poser to simplify some of the steps, I hope this is helpful!

In Krita you have interpolation animation with Animation Curves. But first you can add Transform Mask (like smart object in photoshop) and use the tool transfor and animate the curve like a graph editor like Blender. Easy in and easy out, for acelerate or slow in translation. The same for scale and rotation arroud on the canvas.

Hi! I watched both your tutorials and I just have a question since I'm completely new to animatics.

When you export to work on the animatic in After Effects, in what instances do you export as a video or the individual image files? I imagine that a video is limited with how you can edit it later on correct? The way I understood it is that individual image files can then be manipulated to create movement in the editing software. But do correct me if I'm wrong.

My Krita looks pretty different from the videos I see on youtube, I don´t have the redo arrows and I don't have that lightbulb either. I could use onion layers in the beginning but now I can't see them anymore, Idk if it is something I did but yeah I see no lightbulb and have no idea what I've disabled ;( ..No wonder I've had a hard time learning animatics when I've somehow disabled some key functions..!😅

Memory usage gets so heavy just on like 200 frames.
