I love that this song lives on as Omega’s theme song because he never got his own. But his part in the theme is SO GOOD

Julien-K did a great job making two of Shadow’s theme songs, This Machine (this song) and Waking Up from Shadow the Hedgehog (the game). Both songs fit so well for the Shadow Android saga (Sonic Heroes and Shadow the Hedgehog) of Shadow’s character.

Always loved the Julien-K songs, he did a great job at capturing Shadow's character from this era of Sonic. While I prefer Waking Up, this is also a really good one that also captures the story of Team Dark.
