It's ironic that George McFly had trouble standing up for himself, while Crispin Glover had no such qualms.

Return of Jafar? Straight to DVD? I think you mean VHS.

Donald Glover was a recasting? Do you mean Billy Dee Williams should have played his younger self while being older???
🤡🤡🤡

UM.. there was no recasting for Donald Glover in Solo, that was a younger Lando. LIKE, WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT...

Dan Castellaneta had an impossible task in trying to replace Robin Williams as the Genie in Aladdin 2: the Return of Jaffar. Robin Williams was one of a kind.

"The Sum of All Fears" is such a great action movie that Ben Affleck's mediocrity did not ruin it for me. Definitely worth seeing again.

"Ben Affleck was a bit too young for the part"

He is playing a younger Jack Ryan, as it is a prequel.

I think people believe Lazenby and OHMSS suck because they have been told for decades that it does. Hear it enough and it becomes folklore. He is no Connery, but at that time everyone would have been a disappointment. OHMSS is a good movie. I had heard it was a lesser than for years, too. Then Amazon had all the Bond movies, so I included it in my binge watch. Judge for yourself, dont accept someone else’s opinion

Tommy Lee Jones as Two-Face is ICONIC. STG, the BRITS at WhatCulture are off their rockers at times.

George Lazenby was awesome. This is slander. 😂. But seriously, he’s tragically underrated and his one outing produced one of the best Bond films to date. That ending!

I found Tommy Lee Jones' Two Face preferable over Jim Carrey's Riddler, who was more annoying than likable.

Calling Julianne Moore “terrible” is such a ridiculous take.
She played a fantastic Clarice Starling.

Stewart Townsend was a great Lestat and I will die on that hill. QOTD is a cult classic.

Aladdin - The Return of Jafar was direct to DVD? DVD's didn't really start to become a thing until a few years later. In fact, the first movies released on DVD included Twister, Rocky, and Batman, but not Aladdin or anything related to Aladdin, and that was in 1997. Return of Jafar was in 1994, and was "direct to video, " which in 1994 meant "direct to videotape" aka VHS.

Lando wasn’t recast lol they needed a younger actor so Billy D wouldn’t have made sense and Glover would 🤦‍♂️

same with Sarah Conner

AND I didnt even know Home Alone had 4 movies! Insane that they retold the same story that many times!

I read a great analysis of George Lazanby's performance in OHMSS, which argued that although Lazanby was clearly inferior to Sean Connery in almost every way, the one thing he convinced at which would have arguably been unthinkable with Connery, is where he's crying over his wife's death. Connery was an amazing actor and cinematic icon, but I don't think I've ever seen him do a truly vulnerable/emotional scene, at least not one where he cries (he has some touching moments in Last Crusade with Harrison Ford, and even in Outland in the scenes where he's speaking to his young son, but he's never depicted as emotionally vulnerable). Lazenby, although not a great actor, could at least project that tenderness.

“On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” is a masterpiece.

My number one choice would be Lieutenant Saavik in Star Trek 3. Kirstie Alley was perfection in that role in ST2. It was a huge disappointment to see Robin Curtis portraying her. No hate on Curtis, but Alley WAS Savik.

This is a good one. Altho I thought Sum of All Fears was supposed to be about a younger Jack Ryan.
