SCP 001 is an Apollyon Class anomaly also known as When Day Breaks.
SCP 076 is a Keter Class anomaly also known as Able.

SCP-001 is the designation given to the Sun, after an event occurred that resulted in roughly 6.8 billion casualties within the first twenty-four hours. Upon contact with visible light produced by SCP 001, living organisms liquefy at the point of contact, with the effect spreading until the entire organism is converted into a form resembling melted wax. Organisms exposed to SCP001 though, do not perish.

SCP-076 consists of two components: a stone cube (SCP-076-1) and a humanoid entity contained within (SCP-076-2).
Terminating SCP076 -2 is often problematic due to its significant physical abilities. Subject has superhuman strength and speed, and although not invulnerable, has shown a remarkable ability to ignore pain and shock, pressing on despite what would be debilitating wounds in normal humans.

Of all the things that have happened in this SCP 001 When Dawn Breaks, this was a chapter that goes better, it mentions all the events and more about how Abel became the Black Warrior who only attacks the masses of melted humans and not the the civilians he saves hiding from the sun amazingly impressive

The when day breaks storylines coming out are the most engaging I've seen the scp community in a while, absolutely awesome work, curious to see when day breaks SCP-4975.

I'm working on a story called "When Night falls" it's a sequal that takes place 100 years after the events of When Day Breaks. The remaining humans have built an underground utopia controlled by a anomalous Foundation computer. But the computer is failing and they get the idea to make it solar powered. Only 1 problem. They have to go above ground to do it. The first people in a century to do so. Interesting part of the story, no one in the main cast of characters even knows about The SCP Foundation. I wanted to tell a story about the regular Joes and Janes of this universe. They run into some famous and infamous characters along they way like Dr. Bright and SCP-173, but they have no idea who and what they are.

This was very smart of Abel and cool how we got to see more of his skills that dosent involve actual combat, when is we his armor I thought “oh he can make armor too?” But man was I wrong, not only was he smart enough to create a furnace and forge his armor using his weapon materials but he thought ahead on how to test it as well. Really cool

Can we just appreciate the fact that, despite all his misgivings, Dr Bright is trusted enough to have the contact information of an O5. On a side note, a horrifying side effect is that the lack of exposure to sunlight will cause a deficiency in vitamin D and an increase of cases of depression (more than the trauma of everything would already create). Thankfully, plants are not affected, which means its not a scenario that is impossible to be overcome.

It doesn't surprise me Able survives When Day Breaks anymore than he regenerated after Dr. Bright possessed a blob monster to stop Able.

Weird to see a normally jokey character like bright in such a grim situation. but damn... I thought bright had a chance to keep hold of things for a while there, and then they dropped the bomb of able teaming up with the other scps while he's trying to protect civilians... The tension really gets ratcheted up so intensely in this one. Good work to the writer I have to say. Not to mention the SCP explained team.

Ok the Dedric armor, thats a nice touch, and I think given Abel's proclivity for pointy and sharp things, makes sense.

There's also an anomaly which triggers when your mother asks you to get something from the fridge, it supernaturally makes an item dissapear, and makes it appear only when your mother comes to get it herself. Truly horrifying.

I love how cautious these powerhouse SCP characters are. That Able and 682 weren't afflicted with the same arrogance that made Fernando the Cannibal think he could withstand the effects of the sun. Instead they aren't even going to take the chance.
