It depends on the agency. I have the paragraph format on mine and I have everything I’ve done on my resume. It’s relevant, but still everything. I constantly get referred and interviews.

Isn't it assumed that you were full time unless you state part time?

Great content!
What I just noticed is that, as much as I separate my resume to look visually pleasing, when it’s converted and transferred to the hiring authority, it turns my resume into a block. Not sure how to avoid this.

So do you suggest that we dont use the resume builder? Some people swear hy it, others say dont use it. What is your take?

Yes! I had paid somebody to do my resume. I was referred but not selected for the job. I have three other resumes I have constructed on my own. One got me referred and the other two did not.

Do you include experience that is relevant to the job in general, but not specifically called for on the job announcement? For example, for an IT specialist job, there are relevant things an IT professional does in their current IT position that are not mentioned specifically in the federal job announcement. Should those things be included to show additional IT experience, or just don't mention it?

So no pictures…what about adding a pic of the agency’s seal to the upper right hand corner?

I heard a lot of people try to add a link to there resumes, that's good to know not to do it!! Quick ? From getting a reffered status to getting a notification for a interview, what would be a appropriate time frame range? Thanks for the great videos!!

If a job announcement has closed out and I have ended up obtaining additional employment after the close out, is it ok to email an updated resume to the hiring manager if we are selected for an interview, even though it is slightly different than the one submitted with the application package?
