At least this interview is a friendly interview. At the end, you can see Mrs. Tan showed high respect to Mr. Ren because his honest, humble and long vision personality.

The generation of Mr. Ren, and the generations before them had made tremendous sacrifice to our country. They have carried all the weights for us and time and time again showed us what patriotism actually look like. All of they do is to provide a better life to their children and to their people.

I didn’t know much about Huawei and was very apolitical before Trump and what is happening in HK even on our national day.(I just didn’t believe in good governments east or west) But now with all of the biased informations blatantly showing up in my feed, it forced me to look more into it and see why a company would be under such controversy, and I see how the west is misunderstanding China, misrepresenting China and its government, and attacking its companies with no solid ground... after more and more researching, I am growing more and more in love with my country. And I am growing to be very proud of it, and Huawei, because I can see it’s such a large company with spirit and soul!

I used to love China only for its profound traditional knowledge, kind and hard working people, and the arts and culture... now I love the government as well. I have misunderstood it for a long time. I misunderstood what actually happened on 1989 June 4th, I misunderstood why the country banned so many internet companies which appeared to be giving us less freedom to the outside world. I misunderstood what freedom should be represented as! I never believed in the western format of democracy, but now, I actually believe the Chinese leadership system is a superior one for society. Like Mr. Ren, China’s leaders had always held their vision and ideology, and they have always been leading its people to strive for a better life, not allowing others to undermine the big picture!

She is actually one of the less biased journalists. The interview is a decent job compared to many others.

CEO Ren is a fantastic man, so brilliant and calm. Gosh, Huawei is talking about 6G when 5G has just started.
