I spent 15 years in Japan when I was young and owned a KP61 Starlet and Skyline GT while I was there. I owned a 240SX & also an Integra when I returned to the US - both very well modified… So I understand and appreciate your passion for Mitsubishi EVOs. I wanted a Galant GSR Turbo AWD back in the day. My late dad was a huge VW fan. So growing up, that was my influence. I’m back to roots and am a German car fanatic. Today, I own and love a highly modded MK7.5 final edition GTI… and that’s how I found your video. I’m adding the same Recaros. Was going for Sparcos, but your video helped in my decision. Evo 9 GSR rear seats. Non MR or SE. so you don’t have the red stitch. Love it.

Personally I would keep the rear seats bro, the delete looks nice if you're going for purely track or show car but I'd keep the practicality bro, upholster them and they'll look sick.
I'd love to see the alacantara interior, I'm looking to do the same on my Evo and contemplated paying someone to do it but if you're doing a "how to", I will wait and maybe try myself.

What's your thoughts on the SR7s vs OEM after a few months? Are the SR7s more comfy?

See if you can source a JDM Evo 8 MR rear seat from Japan auctions or something. The JDM Evo 8 MR rear seats were full black alcantara/Swede from factory might be a cheaper option than getting yours reupholstered just make sure they arethe jdm MR model not GSR as JDM GSR model had the blue like yours. Also love the recaro sr7s, your making me want a pair now as well haha. Will the factory Evo seat rails work with them?

Those look awesome! my Recaros are looking a bit sad these days. Might be a stupid question, do you need to order 2 separate seats or does ordering 1 give you 2 seats?

Go with a full cage interior and nice Recaro replacements a cross between evo x and evo 8/9 seats.

Reupholster the rears or maybe look into getting Evo 9 rear seats since its leather & alcantara
