19 yr old electrician, no car & no tools - the home owner must believe in Unicorns also.

Even at today's insane prices for materials, it does NOT cost $500 for the supplies needed to wire a few lights inside of a garage!

If an electrician does not have a vehicle, he is NOT an electrician

When will y’all understand that profiling saves lives and property.
I would’ve told him to kick rocks before I pull that thang out.

Did I hear this right? The resident left this guy in his home alone? Even if the contractor was legit he shouldn't have been left in the home by himself!

This is why you don't ever trust people of that certain culture

This kind of story makes me angry. I'm an electrician by trade, and I don't take very kindly to charlatans posing as electricians, thus taking work away from legitimately licensed ones. Secondly, in order to do work at people's houses unsupervised, you must be licensed as a master electrician (which I am). A licensed journeyman can still do so, but he would be working as an employee of a master. It is impossible to hold any type of electrical license at 19 years of age (at least in Michigan).

The cops aren't going to just randomly go up to someone sitting in the passenger seat of a car and start questioning them. The "electrician" was probably banned from the store and loss prevention or the cops recognized him, how else would they know who he was?

Honestly, this story make no sense whatsoever. The "electrician" gets dropped off (?), gets hired immediately (?), has the homeowner drive him up to Home Depot for tools (?) and supplies, but the "electrician" stays in the car (???), then the homeowner leaves the "electrician" alone at his home while they aren't there (?). I'm not buying it.

The people of the world judge them by the content of their character, not by the color of their skin. This is why they're universally looked down upon and damn well should be. 13/55%
