I had great success with the wave you did, so I can't wait to try this.

These are some of my favorite videos of yours. I enjoy all of your videos and learn something on each video but these loose paintings are my type of thing. Have a great night

This is really beautiful Ellen, I really appreciate how you make it easy to follow. I love the look of atmospheric watercolor. It seems so fresh and expressive and the results can be so different depending on the artist. Thank you! Yes, please teach us more :-)

Never saw this technique before. The atmosphere looks appropriately wet. Now all we need is a seagull or two. Great job.

SAVED BY ELLEN!!!! I got stuck. Beautiful ocean water on my page! Then what??? It needed something. It sat for 3 days while I tried to figure it out. Some of the strokes in the background sort of looked like sails, but I was afraid to try it. Then I found this tutorial! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Sail boats on my horizon!! I'll post it when I finish.

This does remind me of Seurat. I wouldn't have the patience to do all of those dots of pointillism but your style with the little strokes is very effective and I could maybe do that. I love all of the color; yours is impressionistic but I like that I can tell exactly what it is more so than the original.

I love abstract to a point. I love loose interpretative watercolor, what I think you are doing exactly.

This is so pretty. I'm new to watercolor, but I've been painting oils and acrylics for years. I'm in love with watercolor. It's magical and so much fun. I've been enjoying your videos and you're a great artist. Thanks so much for bringing your craft for us to watch.
