Loved the lesson, I have just picked up a brush for the first time I am 67 yrs old. I just never thought I could do it. I could never even paint a wall but I am inspired by your tutorial to give it a go. I have always been a little bit crafty but only textiles, wool, fabrics etc. Due to my arthritis I need to stop needle craft so I have turned my attention to painting, well, trying anyway.
Thank you

Hi Paul, I have been following your tutorials for sometime now. I love your work, sense of humour and generosity in sharing your talent. I am retired and have spent many enjoyable hours in my studio painting. Sharon, Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Thanks for this one. I’ve just finished it. Added a few birds in the background and didn’t get the sea quite right but gave it a good crack. If it sells for millions I’ll cut you in😊

I love the way you explain the painting, it makes me think I can paint it, the ingenious techniques you apply and the simplicity of the process for such a beautiful result, your soft and friendly voice makes the explanation very pleasant. I learn a lot from you!

Hello from San Diego! I am a beginner and thoroughly enjoyed your tutorial. Your calming voice and step by step instructions really helped. I have only done watercolor flowers but you gave me a little confidence that I lacked. Thank you again for your time and talent that you shared.

Blue tone is usually sad but in your picture it is beautiful and shimmering. I would love to see the waters of the lake you describe, but they are moving and sparkling. Thank you.
