How to Swim: Freestyle Pull-Through

Показать описание
When swimming freestyle, over 80% of your forward speed comes from your arms. So getting your pull right is crucial. You want to catch, pull and push as much water as possible to swim efficient or to achieve those long, easy strokes. The goal during the entire pull-through is to push the forearm and hand back in a vertical position. By pushing back against the water, you push yourself forward.

seems to separate legs quite a bit in the kick and other instructors say hands below wrist below elbow below the shoulder on the forward arm extending out ----so many different recommendations by different instructors but thank you for the lesson

big hands are more efficient for me than a firm .close finger position, especially if you small hands like i do.

Why not pull already when the other arm is still in the air outside the water? The Air Resistance is lower than water resistance.
