"I never would have given you to them. Not for anything.Don't cry, you're perfect."

The best line from Silco.

God, Silco's death hit so hard. Seeing him actually care for Jinx instead of being the generic manipulative antagonist was the best route the writers could have taken, kudos to them

Man, even when accidentally killed by her, Silco had nothing but love for Jinx. Now THAT'S acceptance--exactly the acceptance that Jinx wanted when she wanted to be loved despite what she had become. That's why she sat in the chair. And that's why she started a war by the will of an already dead man.

The cello and violin are chopping onions here. Seriously beautiful work, episode 9 really left a mix of emotions

It is often said that a person will show their true colors when faced with death. Say what you will about Silco, but he truly did love Jinx for what she was. Even though the whole dinner table scene was supposed to be VI choosing between Jinx and Powder, when Jinx saw how much Silco loved her as his daughter, the sacrifices he was willing to make for her safety, even comforting her so she won't blame herself for his death, in the end, she made the choice herself. Powder died that day with Silco, and now only Jinx remains. "Here's to the new us". She now wages her own war against Piltover. She will show them, she will show them all.

Jinx’s dynamic and relationship with her fatherly figures, ie Vander and Silco, were truly tragic and extremely nuance because they were both accidentally killed by her which truly says something about her introspective conflict and that scene where Silco sits beside Vander’s memorial just makes it a butt tonne more painful as they both had the same intentions of protecting her but her mental psychosis was the true antagonist that consumed her and inevitably corrupted her mind of clarity and judgement.

I never saw it coming, but Arcane, One of the best series of 2021.

EDIT: 2021 is over and I can now with all certainty say that Arcane was the best series of 2021, hands down.

VIDEO CONTAINS SCENES FROM EPISODE 9! DO NOT WATCH IF YOU'RE NOT CAUGHT UP!
This song was a heavy one to cover... I'm suffering post-series depression and was super emotional while arranging this cover.
I hope you feel the emotions through the beautiful Cello and Violin performances in this cover.
I got a few more Arcane videos this week and I will be moving onto the next!

p.s. I feel so empty... Haven't felt like this in a while after finishing a series...

Vander was a human that became a monster to save VI

Silco was a monster that became a human to save Jinx

The poetry between their actions was magnificent in the final

We will show them all.

All the characters are victims of their fate. There are actually no villains in this series. Everyone tried to make right choices, but their good intentions were ruined by something they couldn't resist. Even the councelors agreed to make peace. Even Savica deserves respect for her courage and loyalty. Act 3 showed us a good side of every character and then killed many of them or left them hopeless and alone. The end of this season was really heartbreaking.

Silco willing to go to war than give Jinx to Jayce

"I thought.... maybe you could still love like you used to. Even though I'm.... different. But you changed too"
That line from Jinx is heartbreaking 💔💔

I'm destroyed from the finale. I'm ready to relive it again emotionally

Silco literally signifies the quote "A hero will sacrifice you for the world but a villain will sacrifice the world for you.

They made Silco, a villain so sinister, menacing and cunning but so easy to sympathize, easy to understand and made an impact to the story that even he's gone, the shadow of him shall forever haunted Jinx and those involved. The music played in the end is so dreadful and painful for all the hopes shattered like those glasses being blew away

“Epic” might as well be an understatement for Samuel Kim’s orchestral masterpieces.

"I am the monster you created" ... says it all really

Am I the only one noticing how heartbreakingly beautiful it is that in the end, fishbones (as a stand in for her love for destruction) is the one element that LITERALLY wipes away her tears when vi and or silco were physically incapable to because they're restrained and dead respectively. Also another obvious one was cait watching the blue rocket against the red sky in despair being intercut with her (now probably) dead mother.
