WT || Leopard 1 - Really Changed After The Changes/Buffs?

I never loved this tank and it was IMO terrible in the past, but now it is acceptable even for me. How times change ^^

I agree with the unconfirmed APDS Buff. It's finally usable now.
Although it could be better.
Leopard 1? I prefer the STB-1. Slower and even slugisher, but with Stabalizer and God it looks great!

Leo1 was the best tank in-game for a time. Before the heat nerfs in 2015/6.

I've noticed something "strange" with your speed with the Leo going to A (1st game) YOUR SPEED ! I'm faster in a M46 (avg. 48kmh) ! Leo have to be faster than this what's shown here !
I think, that's my theory, that tracks makes a huge difference, they may have different "grip" parameters ! Take a look at A1A1 tracks and Leo 1... Gaijin put "old" tracks from the prototype Leo (visible in Munster tank museum) on a "production" Leo !!
Proto tracks are the same as M46 ! and A1A1's are modern KMW ones !
Also, i think that Leo somehow "loses" too much power in the gearbox model in WT...
We are still waiting for accurate gearboxes models, regeneratives, proper differentials
I remember watching the two guys from Thunder Show and Shooting Range making fun of "degenerative" gearboxes and wondering what a differential was ! (they were serious on this point)
Because soviet tanks didn't use such gearboxes, there's maybe no need for them to introduce newer models...
What a shame to see Leo's and other "fast" tanks sluggishly moving around because of "reasons"

Germany needs another 7.7 medium tank, if you compare it to other nations that is something they are severely lacking, maybe a Leo prototype or the the Leopard 1A2 or some M48s which Germany used in quite large numbers.

You people in the Northern Hemisphere are so used to cold that you can't take heat at all. In Australia it soars to 45 C in summer.

Napalm, you need to revisit the Type 74. It is very nice to play with the br changes.

Same here in Sweden, it is very hot.. No wind.. Working outside has been horrible.. As for the video. I really enjoy the leopard. I mean i agree. You have to adapt, but I've had some fun times and some mad sprees.. You just have to play it like a light tank. For me.. I had the RU 251 before it, so i was well up to speed on how to avoid, lay in ambush.. Etc. Use the terrain to my advantage.. And since i only play the germans, there is no problem for me to keep this knowledge up to date... I've tried to reach the top for the british.. I mean it is fun, but it get's boring with the sluggish Chieftain after a while.. Great video! Keep it up!

APDS buff so far just increased the amount of shrapnel created from a hit, but it's still very unreliable, had once to hit same ammo rack 4 times with it to blow it, and sometimes a crew that gets HIT ON THE SPOT with it, survives with at most a red status.
But so far, a front hit against things like T44-100, M46-48-60 patton tanks and some British tanks will at worst cause most crew members to take damage and modules to get orange; at best it kills 1-2 guys, ammo racks or cause a fire plus dead engine/transmission

After spading some Russian tier 5 tanks to get the T-62M-1 it has only solidified the fact that in my opinion French and British tanks, along with certain American ones, dominate the match maker at there battle ratings. Lorraine 40t, AMX-30 (1972), and Centurions dominate the 6.3/7.3 META, its disgusting. The T-44-100, T-54 (1947), and IS-3 are the three tanks I've been spading and I've been clubbed by these stabilised and/or quick tanks. The only tank that can almost withstand the APDS/HEAT spam is the T-54 (1947) which is a whole battle rating above the 20pdr stabilised Centurions which have no problem with penetrating even an angled T-54 (1947): APDS or Shot Mk.1. In your opinion do you believe that the stabilisation and speed META of tier 6 (along with reload) is leaking into late tier 4 and tier 5? IMO the Centurion is on par with the AMX-30 which is on par with the Leopard 1. Some battle rating changes I would like to see include: Centurion Mk.3 to 7.0, STRV 81 to 7.3, Centurion Mk.10 to 7.3, AMX-30 (1972) to 7.7, AMX-30B2 to 8.0, AMX-30 BRENUS to 8.3, and Lorraine 40t to 7.0.

Played with my Stock Ferdinand, met a 7.3-7.7 British APDS gun, he hit me and my driver was only ORANGE, i didn't even had expert crew, so the diver didn't die even with 120% or so of HP through skill points.

No problem on the air conditioner hum Napalm. I only notice it if I concentrate really hard and turn up the volume. Completely understandable under the circumstances. At least count yourself lucky that half of Germany isn't up in flames like Sweden.

After so many tier 6 tanks, thousands of games and years of playing other tanks, leo 1 is still my most played vehicle with 3800 kills.
