The German tech tree in War Thunder used to not have many light tanks. This changed when Gaijin added the Ru 251premium light tank, which is extremely fast and potent.

Fun Fact: The Ru 251 is built upon the hull of the Kanonenjagdpanzer, making it to my knowledge the only actual tank built on a Tank Destroyer chassis, and not the other way around.

Day 12 of asking Spookston to play the T-10M

This tank was designed as a replacement for the light tank role, as Germany used the M41 before. However, Germany developed the Leopard 1 at the same time and realized that the Ru-251 is redundant since the Leopard 1 could pack way more protection and firepower while being nearly as capable when it comes to mobility.

Fun fact: Suprisingly the Ru-251 was built on the chassis of the KanJpz 4-5, unlike in WW2 where it was usually the other way around.

Attempt 34 at getting Spookston to play the 90/53 M41M - an Italian glass cannon that penetrates anything at its BR....but it only has 8 bullets!

Attempt number 32 at getting Spookston to play out any tank with a dozer blade, the catch is, he has to dig in before engaging. Movement around the map is allowed, but he has to dig in again before reengaging.
