For clarification, it’s 1 FREE NAME CHANGE. Which does equal FREE, despite the comments saying otherwise. Back on the 360 it was 0 free name changes… it also depends on region. If you’re changing your name more than once then you pay. So don’t waste it, and it will be free.

Some users get 2 FREE name changes, this is an extra one if your Gamertag is outdated from the Xbox 360. And your regular free change on you’re account.

You only get a few seconds on YouTube shorts, to explain things, and people get mad if you miss something. But the video would be boring if I sat and read Xbox’s Terms and condition wouldn’t it? 😂

Correction to your 3rd fail: HD DVD was actually a competing format to Blu-ray, which Sony heavily pushed early on and helped create (to a degree anyways). Due to the difference of DVD and HD DVD, a separate drive had to be made to read the eventually failed media format.

You also forgot that they changed the xbox live yearly plan to $120 bucks from $60. There was so much backlash they immediately switched it back.

The external HD DVD player was for a different format of media called HD DVDs which was competing with Blu-ray discs. It had NOTHING to do with it playing DVDs in HD.

Back when I was a kid you would just get all your friends and people you played with to report your gamertag. They would make you change it free of charge.
