Nolan is an example of positive gatekeeping. As in, if we didn’t have someone of his reputation defending physical media and filmmaking, the industry and our experience would probably be a lot different.

Chris Nolan is spot on with what he says plus with physical medium like blurays or 4k discs are permanently yours unlike the streaming platforms who can remove the film or change its contents by censoring things they dont agree with!!!! Long live physical discs!!!!

I heard a some movies had been "edited, changed, or censored" in streaming recently. I bet those physical media owners were happy to see their collections can't be edited.

This man is based. I prefer the convenience of digital but I hate the Streaming model. I love collecting media like Blu-Rays, Videogames, and even sometimes books and consoles, so obviously I’m team Blu-Ray. They just gotta get cheaper, because I don’t wanna pay $25-$30 per movie
