You do realize this will be something around 300 to 500 dollars? I mean you can do much more than switch with that money nowadays, but an eGpu? Not really. Plus, it just wouldn't make sense for developers two optimize a game two times for the same console.

The Nintendo switch 2 is just an improvement of the the previous version. Same design but a little larger and have additional buttons on the back of joy-cons and a new button below the home button. The railings have been replaced with magnets

Honestly, all I want is more power, better loading speeds, higher frame rates, and a better battery life. That’s it, the design is fine as it is, I don’t care if it’s technically a new system in the way 3ds games won’t play on a ds, I just want an improved update rather than an overhaul.

I use Xreal VR glasses for my switch. I don’t like that you need so many adopters and an external controller to use. I just want to be able to plug my glasses directly into the switch for power and display and use the switch as a controller

I know my dumb idea is going to be hard to make and expensive but please just listen. The switch is a normal handheld console, similar to an rog ally. The dock is where it really shines. Once you put the switch 2 into the dock it just becomes a fancy card reader. The big fancy dock, with features like a console, enhances your game. You can use joy cons and other controllers to play. Then Nintendo can hop in on big triple AAA titles a thin handheld couldn’t run.

For me 720p in portable mode is the spot, it will be able to play almost every game in 60fps and save lot of energy. In docked mode, 4k in upscale would be nice, using a tecnology similar to dlss.
