Bro, this doesn’t work. Why do you say internal audio when you really mean microphone? Come on.

If I use quick time player it also picks up my surroundings which I don't want it to do

Do you like a challenge? How about making a video similar to this but telling MacBook users how to screen record with internal audio, but without external audio. Because I haven’t been able to figure this out for two years, and I would like to screen record on my Mac without it picking up my dog barking in the background.

QuickTime doesn’t record internal audio by default. Unsure on why you say it does?

How do you record the screen audio from the computer only. Using internal mic also records ambient noise which I don't want.

There is not "Built In mic" option

Dude, you should learn first the definitions of the “internal” and “external” audio and understand that properly to don’t provide confused information for the viewers.
FYI: the microphone is recording the external audio - not internal!

For the record, the background music is the best I've heard, both composition and quality.

When I go to settings, I only have the option "MacBook Pro Microphone" or "None". So, it only records the sound in a regular way or no sound at all. I'm trying to record a short video but only want the sound from the video and not any noise that can occur but don't seem to be able to do that

How come the "built in microphone" option doesn't exist on mine?

Lol this is completely wrong ... we want to know how to record what's playing from the computer, not what's playing from the computer recorded back from the computer's microphone. misleading title, thanks.

I'm curious what you think "Internal Audio" means.

There is no free way to record internal audio on Mac. The only way is through a free trial on a third party app recorder, which I do not want to have to do a free trial. Very frustrating.
