I'm getting ready to swap an ALH from an 02 Beetle into my 87 4Runner. I live where the temps get down to the mid 30's so having the glow plugs warm up the cylinder for ease of starting will prolong the life of the starter. Thanks for making these videos!

Did you run the red wire right too the battery, and have a fuse further down the line?
Let me know, thanks! And any issues too look out for? I’ve got a 1.9L 99 jetta swapped in a cabrio. No designated glow plug switch so any help would be appreciated!
