Do I need to improve the skills related to this to improve my stats the most, or can I just improve my gear Over and Over until it's the same.

Skyrim noob here. Need help. So, I've trained in Smithing to a certain level (forgot which level) but I'm stuck at upgrading my skyforged steel sword at fine at the grindstone. Is the grindstone just a different skill, or do I just keep on training up to upgrade it past fine??

For a good destruction spell visit the college of winterhold in winterhold, play through the quests there and you can learn some good stuff, then find somebody in the college to train you in destruction spells. The best 1 handed weapon is the daedric. To get it you have to craft it in the forge. Just make a ton or iron daggers till ur level 100 and unlock the perk 'daedric smithing' then buy some ebony ingots from a blacksmith. In whiterun go to companions building and steal the daedric heart

Its a dagger, so one-hand. Its a good weapon, but as with any one-handed weapon the damage is based on your one-handed skill, and enchants. Also, you can upgrade it using smithing. It has an enchant on it that takes 10hp from the target.

If you get the skill point for the armor, say the skill for ebony smiting, the effect of the upgrade is greater than it normally would be.

I'm on level 81 and I never upgraded my Smithing perks.... so I'm really pissed =/

Im not sure what's wrong but a lot of ppl seem to have the same problem; they may have added a time limit to it or something....wait a couple hours then try again.

Can you only upgrade once at a time? ( Flawless, epic, legendary) After you craft once You can’t do it for sometime

Im pretty sure that legendary is the last tier of upgradation
