He’s probably never received this much attention in his life which is sad

He was failed badly by his parents. Now many lives are ruined because they did nothing.

He sounds like a man.
He's waving because he planned it, told other students & everyone heard & saw him.
Why not go straight to senticing.

the kid had enough of whatever? He said to himself this is it! No turning back! Crap is hitting the fan! Crying out about something that he is not seeing as rightful? The mother looks to be the root of all wrong? Father looks relieved just to be away from her lol

The case of this guy shooter is one of the most complex case i ever seen. Its like his case is being so uncarelessly treated like so many preliminary stuff in his case and so many evidence that need to be reviewed and moving into other courts and dates. Get into a verdict already.

I wonder how long he'll get as he was only 14 when he did it - I suppose it depends on the law in Michigan, but certain states would let him out when he turned 21

citizens of michigan need to look up and figure out about 50 school shootings in each state . usa as a whole to protect children that are trying to study and learn . I give an FFFF for a grade. big fail. schools need a big change.

When does Oakland County prosecutor Karen McDonald step up and charge school officials criminally? Standing my and leaving it up to G. Fieger to clean the district (taxpayers) out financially for their failure is plain wrong.

****Mental Health Literacy needs to be part of the curriculum in every school, including religious schools and home schooling. **** Every student could use coping skills and self-awareness every day of their lives. How often are they going to actually use U.S. History, or World Geography? Maybe less mandatory focus on mostly irrelevant topics would leave space to include more important and practical mental health topics. A lot of parents won't or can't recognize the signs their kids need help. Even if they do recognize these signs, many still won't or can't get them the help. I can't imagine getting texts from my frightened child saying he is alone in the house with demons and needs help. Then responding "Nah, I'm gonna sleep with this guy who isn't my husband right now. My orgasm is more important than my child's terror." Real parents have real flaws. As a civilized nation, we should not allow that to impact their children more than it has to. We have the means to reach their children through school. That's why we have school breakfasts and lunches - for the kids whose parents won't or can't feed them properly. We need to apply that same rationale to mental health education.

In a year this story accept DA will go away and life moves on what about school that was giving proof and warning way before anyones child was taking from them and before he got chance to say for game or try to scratch things off the teacher had full picture of what Ethan was going to do on this day. Why didn’t school call police and CPS before calling the parents as we all know many can pick up certain vibes from child and from adults if you ask me all signs show this young man was up to know good as his picture wasn’t work or homework that alone all red flags. Parent don’t get say no child not going home if school say the child has to leave with you now or will leave with police or CPS BUT cops should have already been their before parents got their. These schools and teachers know this isn’t first school shooting to why I feel they need to be held accountable other school shooting might not have got prior warnings but this school did and they didn’t help to protect those kids or adults in that school. DA trying get name for herself fine so she charges parents why would she stop when I feel enough proof to also charge school these schools needs to know moving forward just as much on them if they don’t only thing will happen is more school shootings. Ethan isn’t the only child in these schools facing all kinds of evil thoughts it don’t stop with Ethan. Blood is also on school hands period, they fail those parents!

Has anybody been indicted yet? Prosecutors cannot bring up charges on their own and usually a grand jury must indict so many days after arrest. What is a preliminary exam? Sounds like some kind of medical probe.
