THANK YOU!!! I hate mymathlab so much. It does a terrible job at explaining things and the tutors always skip steps, which is not helpful when teaching someone. This was very helpful, I'm sure to get an A on this next test with these shortcuts.

I wish that this had been covered in college pre-Cal before I took Cal I. Instead, our college pre-Cal was composed of a semester of y=Mx+b, and Cal-I was like figuratively stepping out on the moon and choking on the vacuum of space. SMH…

Here's a way I remember product and quotient: "ho-di-hi plus hi-di-ho" and ho-di-hi take hi-di-ho / on the square of what's below, " with "ho" being function g and "hi" being function f.
