The bullet is a mad thing. The bullet kills while it is in the air. I want to stop philosophizing but I Kant.

So, there is an effective range of each firearm shown in the unit's statistics. But there is also a maximum firing range. And what goes above effective firing range is still harmful.

These couple of videos show the ranges of firearms while aiming kneeled target, standing target and mounted target. This knowledge will be useful for later positioning of the second line, reserve units, line infantry as the light infantry support, etc.

Riflemen unit with 125 effective range is positioned behind to give clear reference of the distance.

It looks like most bullets actually hit their targets but dont kill, as if to artificially reduce the amount of 'missed' shots that are deadly behind the target, always thought one hit one kill in ETW
