How to check solar panel amps with a multimeter/ how to measure solar panel wattage and current

In this video i explained how to measure current and voltage produced by a solar panels
All of the solar panel in the market right now come with the labels indicating the maximum current it can produce
Some of the solar panels doesn't meet the advertised power that is indicated in the label
so to find out if your solar panel is legit one you will need a multimeter and then start by measuring the voltage then after that shift the wires to the side that will allow you to measure the current and this is usually indicated on your multimeter so check out your multimeter carefully to find out but make sure that the amperage ratings on your solar panels doesn't exceed the amperage readings on your multimeter
so for example if your panel is rated to produce 20 amperes you should not connect it to the multimeter whose capacity readings is 10 amps

When testing current, your meter says 10 seconds max! Every 15 minutes!
What do you think this means? It means read amps for no more than 10 seconds, then open circuit. Wait 15 minutes. Then you can read amps again but for no more than 10 seconds. Hope this helps!
