Chicken Scratch Apologetics. The Faithful Slave is a group in charge of all Jehovah's Witnesses around the world. They say Jesus chose them in 1919, is that Biblical, or are they lying?

The Watchtower god is unable to silence EXJW dissent. It's even the opposite there are more and more EXJW channels in the world every year. Thank you for your excellent informative work. The passage of time is on our side, unlike the Watchtower society which is beginning to find the time very, very, very long.

By them telling people not to read or interpret the bible on their own is like going back to the Middle Ages, where people were beaten or even killed by trying to read or translate the bible and give it to others without the church's authority. Despite that they even admit that they can't interpret it correctly themselves because of imperfection. Everyone who was truly led by the holy spirit could interpret it despite being imperfect, because God said in the bible for you are not the one who is speaking but he was.

I refer to the organization as the unfaithful indiscreet slave, who give their followers unspiritual food at the proper time .

A little chronology for Mr D C1. And no, I'm not making it up.
1918:
“… we confidently expect that 1925 will mark the return of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and the faithful prophets of old, particularly those named by the Apostle in Hebrews 11, to the condition of human perfection.”
-- Millions Now Living Will Never Die, p89.

1922:
“The date 1925 is even more distinctly indicated by the Scriptures than 1914.”
-- Watchtower, Sept 1, 1922, p262

1923:
“Our thought is that 1925 is definitely settled by the Scriptures. As to Noah, the Christian now has much more upon which to base his faith than Noah had upon which to base his faith in a coming deluge.”
-- Watchtower, Apr 1, 1923, p106

1925:
“The year 1925 is here. With great expectation Christians have looked forward to this year. Many have confidently expected that all members of the body of Christ will be changed to heavenly glory during this year. This may be accomplished. It may not be. In his own due time, God will accomplish his purposes concerning his people. Christians should not be so deeply concerned about what may transpire this year…”
-- Watchtower, Jan 1, 1925, p3

1925:
“It is to be expected that Satan will try to inject into the minds of the consecrated, the thought that 1925 should see an end to the work… ”
-- Watchtower, Sept., 1925

1926:
“Some anticipated that the work would end in 1925, but the Lord did not state so. The difficulty was that friends inflated their imaginations beyond reason; and that when their imaginations burst asunder, they were inclined to throw away everything.”
-- Watchtower, Aug., 1926, p232

1931:
“There was a measure of disappointment on the part of Jehovah’s faithful ones on earth concerning the years 1917, 1918, and 1925, which disappointment lasted for a time... And they also learned to quit fixing dates.”
-- Vindication, p338

So...
1918: We're confident it's going to happen in 1925.
1922: We're REALLY confident.
1923: It's definitely settled in the scriptures. It's going to happen in 1925. Believe us more than Noah believed God.
1925: It might happen. It might not. (That's called hedging, and we're getting pretty good at it.)
Later in 1925: The devil said it was going to happen, not us.
1926: Who said it was going to happen? If you imagined that, it's your own fault.
1931: Yeah, we gotta stop sayin' crazy stuff like that. It kinda makes us look stupid.

But wait... 1942! 1975!

They don't say how they found out Jesus chose them.
He didn't pay a visit.
He didn't send an e-mail,
Nothing.

It shouldn't be called free home Bible study but WT literature home study.
Everyone knows that JWs study their own interpreted literature not the Bible.

I was never a JWs and my only experience with their church was agreeing to do Bible Studies with them in college. This lasted several months and ended when I graduated and moved back home.
These were very awkward so called Bible Studies because the JWs never answered any of my critical thinking questions...not even ONE!
They often tried to rush through lessons knowing a critical question 🙋 would come up. I would ask a question and then total silence! After the silence they would often say, "You know due to limited time let's not get off course or we'll do research and address that for next week studies"
What they could not get was that I sincerely wanted to understand their teachings but more importantly wanted clarification and irrefutable proof directly from the Bible which ironically one was never opened. It was all digital literature from an iPad with click this verse here.
I realized that I was receiving a lot of answers that couldn't be questioned and had a lot of questions they wouldn't answer.
In conclusion I could never join a group or church were I could not question their teachings for further clarification or understanding. It's literally a form of mind control at that point.

Great job. 👍 Keep up the good work. Idk if you already have a video on this topic but the most disgusting thing to me about this cult is they teach Jesus is _not_ a mediator for Earthly Hope JW. The Bible is crystal 💎 clear there is only one mediator and they have none. It's pretty sad. 😟

Concerning the "love" the Jw's claim, please show me all of the hospitals started by the Watchtower, or charities that feed, clothe or provide housing for the homeless. How many pregnancy care centers have they got throughout the world that care for the most vulnerable souls out there? In fact, show one example of love that the JW's, share please!!

Each one of us can be a faithful slave - it is a parable not a prophecy

Another subject that gets me is Armageddon - It is a battle against the rulers of the earth, not all humans as depicted by the which tower babble and trick society

Yeah it kind of all makes sense. With Jw, its you, the elders, governing body, writing department, branch desk committee, judicial committee, field service report, pioneering, aux pioneering, reaching out, meeting attendance, confession, judgement….. and last of all, GOD.

I ask 2 critical questions to JWs.
1. Does everything JWs believe, teach and preach come 100% from the Holy Bible? Y or N
2. Can JWs prove any of their beliefs and teachings using only a Holy Bible? Y or N?
I amazingly always get 2 Yes to these critical questions.
Then I ask can you please provide all scriptural evidence which proves that in the year **1919** Jesus chose a small group of Bible Students to become Gods only true religion on Earth?
And then without fail I get ignored with the sound of crickets. Ridiculous!!
If you can not prove something is true begs a critical thinking question "How can you believe it?!"

Your opening comment should be enough to wake anyone up, a governing body, faithful slave, a board of people in New York...this is sad
