These are great . Like the "Mr. Moto" movies with Peter Lorre, they were done as alternative to the Charlie Chan series

Dudes. I own this! Watched a 1000 times. Karloff is not the best China man, IMO. But still an ok movie.

If the characters didn't constantly refer to him as a "chinaman" I would have gone on not even knowing Karloff's character was supposed to be Asian.
