I upgraded from a 4 to a 7. they have some really good deals on 7's and i believe it's not worth it to spend the extra $$ on the 8.

About to choose 7 or 8 from 6 becasue my 6 has stopped working 😞 As per the information from this video, I tend to choose "7" because some upgraded features in 8 are of very less importance to me (for instance, cycle tracking App is not needed for a man who can't ovulate at all :D ) . So, cheaper option should work :)

Just got my series 7 Apple Watch in April. I upgraded from the 4 and so far I love it. No reason for anyone with a series 5 or better to upgrade to the 8 if you wanna upgrade gran the ultra.

Having gone from a 7 to an 8, there is no discernible difference. The only real difference is marketable features that only 1% of people will every use.

Just got my first Apple Watch - Series 7 Nike 41 in Starlight. Wanted the Nike, and luckily one of the UK’s biggest department stores (John Lewis) still had it in stock. Plus, unlike at Apple, you get a 2 year guarantee at JL. Still getting used to it, but what an upgrade from my Amazfit Band 5! 🤣

The only things I’d want from the newer model is low power mode battery life, I imagine the Series 7 would get similar numbers though. I’d rather a titanium watch than a steel one, scratches look horrendous on steel.

Hi Andrew, I might be in the minority here, but I have gone from the series 7 Apple Watch to the series 8 Apple watch.
why you might ask where am I Series 7 w was a 41 mm watch, and the one that I have bought is a 45 mm one, so for me this is a little bit of a bigger upgrade that most
The screen is that much bigger, and for a person approaching 60, makes everything easier to see.
However, if you were if you were coming from a Series 7 45 mm then I guess you are right there is no need to upgrade.
But don’t discount The 4 mm increase in screen Real Estate when it comes to those people, like myself coming from a 41 mm watch.
In actual fact, I have small wrist, and even though I have ordered a bigger watch, I was always afraid that it would be too big, but to my surprise when I got the 45 mm watch and put it on fit perfectly, and that makes me a happy camper
