Amazing footage taken by Mark Rogers minutes after tornado went through Moore, OK.
You can see tornado still on the ground in the background.
His grandson was trapped in the direct path of tornado and saved himself by hiding in neighbor's shelter. Mark was 6 blocks away and ran towards where the house used to be . Amazing reunion is caught on video as well.

I'm always so bewildered by the profound shock and disorientation people experience after something this traumatic. I can't imagine. The confusion on everyones' faces is so sad. Not even being able to tell where you are because everything's been wiped off the map. 💔

To everyone who asked about the dogs. One was killed in the backyard by flying debree, the other two we found we found were ok.

This makes me appreciate what I have around me. Prayers to all those. It’s 2020 and I watch to remind myself how fragile life is.

Absolutely incredible footage. If anyone ever asks what it's like after a tornado this is my go-to video. Hope you guys got through that okay, I can't even imagine what those people felt after that.

When you here witnesses on the news use terms like: "it looks like a bomb went off" or "war zone". This is the type of aftermath they're describing.

This is truly horrifying... and really important. No one sees this kind of event like THIS- a man finding his house and family after, not a tv re creation with actors and
It just shows the reality of the situation.
Please keep it here, people should know what this can do to a community.
I’m so sorry 😐

The way that kid came sprinting up to him broke me.

This video beats any disaster/apocalypse scene of any movie as far as transporting a person into the surreal aftermath of such a cataclysmic event. Thanks for posting this.. gave me a very real sense of the potential danger of these things.

*It amazes me that, an EF-4 or 5 can DO all of this in seconds, then the sun practically comes out afterwards*

Wow, it’s really incredible to see how strong everyone in this video is and how they all are immediately concerned about their families and neighbors. Just looking around and to see an entire neighborhood of well built homes completely leveled and seeing how much these people really care for one another is amazing. Did they find their dogs and were they ok? Also, right before the video ends I can hear someone yelling for help that was probably trapped :( just amazes me that their weren’t hundreds or thousands of causalities.

Just came across this video I haven’t seen before. It almost looked like a war zone. Black smoke. Debris every where. Just incredible.

If you live in tornado prone towns - your city, county, state must provide for underground shelter every so many blocks. That's their life or death responsibility to their community. Tornado's are not survivable in your bathtub, or taking shelter in a closet. Such a terrifying and sorrowful sight.

That’s as bad as it gets, besides losing a loved one. Now eight years later. You wouldn’t even know it happened by looking at this area.
Oklahoma 💪

This is so devastating. My heart goes out to those affected by this. I know its been almost 10 years since but it's still devastating to look back and see this. The town of Moore will never be the same

I was in a cellar off telephone rd & 4th, just a house or two away from that devastation. Your son was so so lucky to walk away without injury, that's insane.

I am always shocked by the people wondering around just moments later. You know they are in shock and they are literally short circuiting by everything around them.
I cant imagine how you can sleep after. Its amazing anyone can live through such things.

It's crazy to think within mins a city can be whipped away by Mother Nature. 3:13 mark "God saved your life today boy'. I felt that.

I live in earthquake country which is bad enough, but this I can't even wrap my head around. Houses completely gone, just unbelievable. I feel so badly for all these people. 😥
