I'm all for functionality and comfort in fashion, so I'll prefer a pretty everyday dress over a fancy prom dress. But once in a while, I stumble an 80's prom dress at the thrift store that is so over the top and beautiful that I'm actually considering getting it. I never do, because I don't know where I will wear it to, it's a waste of closet space. I definitely have a weakness for those dresses, though.

Omg i loved that princess silhouette that you said was giving bridal. I would have loved to have found a dress like that for my prom. I wore a dress that was too big in the bust bc i could find a single other dress to fit me, and i ended up wearing a cover up bc i was too shameful to show my shoulders.
