Can a Subaru Outback cross deep water?

I had some fun and tried to take my 2017 Subaru Outback through water to see what it can and can't do.

I had to do this thru some deep water that came up on the hood. I was panicking. Not once but twice. My subie came thru like a champ. Changed out the air filter asap after. No issues thank goodness. 2018 outback touring

Today i passed a flooded street with my 3.6R legacy 16"! The water level was below the mirrors and sounds started to rise from the CVT but it did pass and i thank subaru for that.

I LOVE my Subaru Outback (2019 Limited 3.6R)....but the answer to this question should always be "NO" (except for that little baby creek at the beginning...how cute) . Never drive into deep water. Your life (and those of your passengers) may depend on it.

Am wondering if there is a way a snorkel can be rigged onto the Subaru Outback. I have a 2019. Seems it is not lifted enough.

Blucey, from the election day drive video, it looked like a had a Premium Outback and now you seem to be in a Limited one.  Same color.  Are you using the Premium wheels on the limited?

I love 💕 Subaru I had a legacy limited 2015 ✅. Excellent a forester limited ✅ 2018 and Impreza I ( base 2019) ✅. Subaru is the best Japanese car. Not Honda Toyota or Nissan. Subaru is like Audi it’s just excellent
