The original slaps hard and it’s gotten me down a Japanese city pop rabbit hole

R.I.P Miki Matsubara
Really great singer with a beautiful and natural voice
Sad that she regretted making music

The first one feels like memories that are calming, and the rap sample sounds like you vs your pillow

THE ORIGINAL IS SOO GOOD.
It's the first Japanese song i heard and there is just so much emotion in Miki's voice, it's phenomenal.

The sad truth is that the singer who sang Mayonaka no door died at age 44 due to uterine cervix cancer, she died thinking her music was a flop to everyone… She had died, but people are listening to this song and I greatly appreciate that.

RIP Matsubara, real legend.
