Thanks for the test. Well done. Unfortunately in Canada - US we drive max 120 km / h occasionally a little faster. Anyway in Europe the same.

The Toyota Corolla SE AWD hybrid is a fancy car. I have a sedan living in Canada. The look, the finish, the Yokohama 225/40/18 tires. Inside similar, just a smaller Lexus for only $30K. Ride excellent. Acceleration needed, i.e. from 0 to 70 km / h good, like electrics.
After the city's convenience, practically the car drives itself. Safety 3.0 as in the Lexus. Stereo 6 speakers. 4 adults ride in full comfort.
The only negative is the engine without sealing gives a superfluous sound when accelerating.

I have a 2021 you need to put the sound mat under the hood, they do not have one. I love mine, 44 mpg up here in North Dakota. The battery helps in windy conditions, and under 65 mph this would get you 50 mpg, I drive 75 mph.

Toyota Corolla Hybrid is a good choice for using in City and suburbs. So, when you drive more than 60% of distance in the city, Toyota Corolla Hybrid is a good choice.
When you drive for a long distance by highway, Toyota Corolla Hybrid is not a good choice. Toyota engineers decrease price of the car by installation a poor soundproofing, therefore driving with a speed higher than 90 km/h is an excruciation. Hybrid system in the highway does not work and weight of battery and EV increase weight of the car and fuel consumption. In the city and suburbs, where maximum speed is less than 90 km/h, Toyota Corolla Hybrid is very very very good choice.
Taxi drivers like Toyota Corolla Hybrid very much, because this is the best car for their needs especially after installation of an LPG equipment and decrease exploitation costs to the level of EV cars.
One more disadvantage of Toyota Corolla is that this car is on the top 2 the most stollen cars in Europe (often this is the most stollen car in Europe from year to year). So, protection and insurance against stealing must be taken into an account, when you decide to buy this car.

Hey buddy. Thx for sharing this.
I love the design in and out. You clearly have to get used to that sound when accelerating (hard).
My son runs the Yaris Hybrid (2019), and in town and on country road, I (as passenger) hardly notice the petrol kick in. But he is a very efficient driver...nothing like me i guess ;-)
Oh and I see at around 6.20 (sorry don't know how to make timestamp) you also have those slowass lefties like we have here in Denmark....and are know for.

sounds like the engine wants to get out :)) the noise corolla is doing when accelerate is very bad...i had this car and sold it after 1 year..not a very good choice
