It FEELS constant at this point, i feel like at a certain point. you'd take more precautions against fires.

Cut the tree-line back a few dozens yard? a 100? Keep a space between the residential/developed areas and the forested? 💁🏼‍♂️

How is it that California can have record-breaking rainfall for the last three years, and still have record-breaking fire seasons? Left-leaning news reports that there has been no rain in California since May, however I was there at Christmas and there was rain. Gaslight much?

To many trees, too close houses to others, not enough concrete or wider streets and cops to make sure evacuations go smooth without clogging up. Instead of using water on fires they might be better off dropping dirt on them.

Many years ago, a forest service grazing expert, (I cant recall his name) exampled how to use small, growing season prescribed fire to control wildfires in California woodlands. Many other Forest Service officials fought him tooth and nail. Old habits dying hard and still causing troubles many years later.
