Kids left hanging upside down on carnival ride at Arkansas State Fair

An Arkansas mom captured video of the terrifying moments her kids, ages 8 and 11, found themselves stuck upside down on a carnival ride at the state fair.

She says it took workers about 15 minutes to get her children and other passengers safely off the ride.

I have never trusted any "ride" that can be built and dismantled within hours. Nah fam. I'll stick to the bounce house, scamming games and deep fried anything.

This happened to me when I was younger on a similar ride. I was not strapped into the seat right. When the ride got stuck upside down, I essentially had to push myself back into the seat to avoid plummeting to death. Luckily I was on the ride with my father at the time, I was about 7 years old. He was much bigger than I at the time and was able to hold me from falling out of my seat while being suspended feet in the air upside down. Was one of the most horrific experiences ever and why I refuse to ride most rides still, to this day.

You would think they would get the kids out of those seats nearer the ground and not push them up to risk them slipping out in panic.

Temporary fair rides are always sketchy af. At least with actual theme parks, the rides are meant to be long-lasting, so they’ll put more effort in making sure it’s safe.

Im confused. The ride break? You make it sound like this was on purpose. Why not get everybody off. Less weight easier to spin it. Or better yet call the fire department. 15 mins? If i was the mom id have called 911 already. F that. 😢
