Use ChatGPT To Comment Your SQL Queries

Another decent Analytics use case for ChatGPT is adding human readable comments to your SQL code.

This is one of the things ChatGPT is already pretty good at (and it will definitely get better).

You might use this for a couple of different scenarios:

1) you've put together some lengthy code that you now need to clean up to share with your coworkers (or your future self)

2) you've been handed some inherited code and want some help commenting it up

Now, there are certain nuances that AI tools like ChatGPT just aren't going to understand, like...

- why you cut the data off at a certain point
- why the code overwrites value X as value Y during a certain period

Things like this, are really best done by the person creating the code initially. They have that context.

And of course, we want everyone to comment their own code in general.

Using ChatGPT is just a shortcut to help do **some** of the heavy lifting.
