If you are used to the 12.9 screen, buy the 13 inch, I found I was not happy returning to an 11 inch screen. Love the new ipad pro 13.

12.9 m1 iPads still have a lot of life left in them. I am still wowed by the mini led brightness in HDR scenarios. The move to OLED seems like another step forward rather than a leap forward. I am patiently waiting for the m5 pros to even consider upgrading

Unless you intend to use your Pro for lots of video editing or if you have money to throw away then there is no point getting the new Pro. I have the M1 Pro and it’s still overpowered for iPad OS. Until iPad OS is a more robust operating system then I will not be upgrading. It has the hardware but not the software.

Only reason I’m upgrading my 2018 pro is its battery kinda sucks now and I didn’t want to pay for a battery replacement on a 6 year old device. I’m also a sucker for oled. My tv, monitor, and phone are all oled, I was just waiting for the iPad to finally get it.

I’m also sticking with the trusty 11" as the 13" imo is too big and defeats the purpose of a tablet.

Otherwise.. you’re right, the 2018 iPad Pro is still a beast and I don’t have a single complaint about it lol

I made a Big mistake upgrading from my M1. I just got the M4 today. The screen is incredible. But other than that its the same experience. Much faster. It isnt worth it 😖. Stupid me.

I love the Silver Color! its so clean! Atleast you still get the USB-C Poweradapter in the US, im in the EU, Apple is selling it without Poweradapter here now, the Package is so slim too now. Nice Comparison tho!! BTW Where did you get your Apple Watch Ultra Band! It Looks sick! Is it from Nomad?

I have the M2 IPad Pro 12.9 from 2020 and it still works GREAT

I still have the older M1 iPad 11 inch pro from 2022 which still works quite well. Was lucky to find a cheap enough one with 2TB of storage. Not sure if I will ever upgrade to the M4 but should something ever happen I may consider it.

Considering the price is similar (around $1K in 256gb) and I still need to buy apple pencil as well. I am using it for media & note taking. For heavy use, I still have MBP M1 16 inch

Coming from a tab s9 ultra, I don’t want a 15 inch. It’s too big for a tablet imo. The 14.6 on the ultra was uncomfortable to use to be honest.

I think the IPad Mini 6 is the best for what I use it for. It’s much sharper with the 324 ppi vs the larger iPads at 264 ppi. The text is much sharper. And I’m able to take it anywhere I go.

Thanks for the comparison, I was looking forward to your review comparing the Mini LED vs OLED since I have an M1 Pro and considering the upgrade. The OLED looked a little brighter but I don’t think it worth the 300 dollars upgrade. Plus the biggest downside was buying another Magic Keyboard for 349 which almost cost the same as the M3 PRO.
