Interesting. Is the snapshot just information about the plugin settings and other Wordpress settings? Or is it a full backup of both files and database? In other words, will restoring a snapshot work if I delete the deactivated plugins? Also, if you do a reset and re-activate a plugin, will the plugin settings prior to the reset be restored? Or does it wipe out all plugin tables when doing a reset? Thanks for an interesting video.. :)

I've had the pro version of this for years, installed it on a number of sites, set up automatic snapshot creation etc. But I have never actually found a real use case for it. What I have found, is that it stores DB backups in the DB, thus creating DBs of enormous size, if you don't clean up. And uploading to cloud storage has also worked badly for me. Very slow, and unreliable. Perhaps meanwhile it has improved? But then again, I'm still not seeing the point 🤔

Why do people need to reset a Wordpress website? What are the use cases? Why not simply reinstall a fresh virgin Wordpress instance? I don't understand :S

So weird! I have the pro version, and I'm not seeing this Create Snapshot button in the Set Reset section. I just installed the latest version for a test site two days before your video came out.

Side note: I would love to see a more in-depth video on WP Reset. Even after reading its docs, I'm still having trouble wrapping my head around some of the features this plugin offers.

When I tested this I was no longer able to login. Assumed it reset my login credentials so I updated my password but it still wouldn’t recognize it. Any suggestions on a fix?

I would probably use my hosting to create a fresh install and use the hosting backup if needed. Don't see how this plugin is useful. I used this free version of plugin they deleted all users so, I couldn't login back and realised they don't save any users in free version. Such a dumb idea.
