HOI4 Historical Multiplayer Mod Rule Set Explained

In this video I review the Hearts of Iron IV HMM Mod rule set. This is the multiplayer mod that I have been using lately and there are a lot of rule breaks in my games. Unfortunatly the HOI4 base game and multiplayer mods need written rule sets for players to read and agree upon. Hopefully Paradox will add a base game competetive multiplayer mode sometime in the future. Hope you like the video, cheers!

This should be a required video before every game

Minimal airwing from cas should be 90, cas works diferent from fighters, they join battle in múltiples of 3, if You have 100, 10 become useless as they don't join battle

Why are some of the neutral countries made neutral although they were in ww2 definitely not (cough cough Iran, Iraq(turkey and Spain a bit too(and Sweden almost joined Sweden in the winter war)) and all of central and most of South America joined the allies in 1941, Finland also joined the axis more or less in the continuation war )

It's not a historical mod if the paths and focuses it gives you are not historical.

Geez, what's left to play? Maybe Paradox can do some work and balance out a PvP experience scenario.

I’ve never played hoi multiplayer. I wish the ai was better. But I just don’t feel like messing with ultra meta multiplayer

10w lags the game as hell thats the problem when china survives and spam them, sure 50 10w are ok but 800 10ws gonna lag the Game hard
Also 20w and 10w have the same organization so, efective they can fight almost the same time, and reinforce the battle a lot (costly in manpower tho)

Doesn't deleting encircled divisions give only 20% of the manpower and rest of them die and all equipment is lost and you can't change the division template of the encircled ones or maybe you can change the division as long as it's not attack such as the paratroopers, idk.

Funny enough, in this explanation video 1/3 of the rules are just drawing a blank. Ya okay the game is very unbalanced and if you want a competitive format you need a few limits on unit design and where boats can be pre-world tension 100%, but theres also cutting out a lot of mechanics like only Spain can send volunteers, no one can have 10 width cause USSR would use it to turn it's wide border into a slog, navel mines are just out so why even add Man the Guns. And Frances only rule is no new ports, cause... I guess you can't just get more supply after your coast is gone? As if Germany wouldn't just go through Belgium like the rules say it has to? idk Is there a rule set for ahistorical play or keeps things fair enough while being simple? Not just for the sake players get to do memey stuff that isnt degenerative or feel like they have control, but also if someone is monitoring the game for rule breaking they don't have 50 rules to overlook along with dates when you're allowed to declare war on vulnerable nations.
