You are right my tongue is wider than my palate and usually rests over my back teeth. However I have a short lower face so making it longer won’t hurt my proportions. But you are right my teeth should protrude more, everything looks sunken in

I am a 19 year old boy from India.
I had crowded teeth and deep bite before my braces, that is now corrected without extraction of any tooth by using self - ligating braces.But the sad part is that I lost my smile . I think my teeth have been moved inwards.I would love to correct it through the orthotropic treatment that you invented, but it isn't available in India.
It would be highly appreciated if you could take time to consider my problem and fix it . And in return I can help you in anyway possible to bring what you bought to my country.(Even if it takes me to become an orthotropist and help you out ).

Will using just an upper arch expander help fix an overbite by itself or would I need to wear a lower expander also?

hey guys whoever is seeing things i have find a way to mew and fix overbite....so you put your tongue on roof of palate but a few a distance behind the teeth then make sure your mewing with chin tucks coz it will ensure the pressure is going upwards rather than forward you teeth should touch slightly with small tip dont mew without doing chin tuck even while sleeping honestly the only way mewing worked for welcome

Dear John Mew:
You say that deep bites are caused because back teeth don't erupt as they should. Wouldn't make sense to extrude them? There is apparent contradiction on your claims. You say that you shouldn't erupt back teeth because your face will appear longer. What about patients with a too short lower face due to deep bite? Wouldn't they benefit of elongating the lower face?

My 12 yr old daughter already had extractions (mostly baby teeth at 7-10yrs old) to correct a class 2, division 2 bite. The ortho is using braces now to correct the bite with no guarantees of a symmetrical profile. He says that anterior growth guided appliances (AGGA) don’t work. I guess mini implants don’t work either?

does the orthotropic approach involve removable appliances? im 18 and my bite is very deep, although i have a long face. ive corrected my posture as much as possible but its hard to get the tongue to touch the papilla as well as the rest of the palate in the front because of limited vertical height

What if we are in the U.S and you are in the UK? I've tried talking to orthodontist in my area to do your treatment and they think you guys are dumb... I then proceed to tell them that they should get a refund on their degree...
I've fixed my posture but my teeth seem to be stuck in class 2 division 2. Any ideas?

What causes one side of the face to be bigger than the other?
(My face used to be pretty symmetrical but i had an operation just below my ear and im trying to get it symmetrical again)

Just figure out that I have deep bite teeth but my teeth’s are not tilted outward as it’s straight so can phrase one that is just mewing help me get rid of deep bite?

How could a longer face ALWAYS be a negative thing?
I for one have a somewhat weaker jaw/chin(talking about length not projection)
so, correcting my deepbite would mean I could sport a shorter beard without looking like a Muppet.

Jaw surgery caused me to have a deep bite~ excessive overbite~over closing~bite collapse, so that is another potential cause of it. So people beware!

Nice to know it will also cause my jaws to become even more recessed.
