FreeFileSync is the type of software you probably never thought you'd use until you'd actually had the need to. It's just like rclone, rsync, once you use either, you can't go back.

How would I use this for syncing dropbox to external hard drive. Specifically (assuming i have done a full sync of dropbox files to external) if I have a file on the external drive, delete the file on computer/ dropbox, then sync with external, will the deleted files on computer be deleted on external drive? Thus keeping all files/folders synced?

Think we can pause a sync when needed? would it restart the whole thing if not?

I'm looking at multiple videos for this application, and they all look vastly different than mine. On the videos there are a wealth of options and tools\views. Mine is a tiny box with only a couple of options. It has "Folders to watch", "minimum idle time", and "command line". Then a big start button with the Freefilesync logo at the bottom. What am I missing here?

Sir, Over a month ago, I ask you for help, Thanks, I am looking to get Gnucash to get stock/tickers into Gnucash. As I cant get it to work. A person told me that I need to go through all things and see what I did wrong. I have my doc's and another folder called "James" witch are the same thing. So can I delete the "James" folder. or can I move it. Do you know how to get Gnucash and Linux to work with the tickers/Stock. Thanks

Sir, I noticed you are using Windows. I am using Linux Mint. I downloaded the free filesync. However, I can't make it work. There are no desktop icons. I tried going to the files. That won't work. When I open the browser. The files won't come in. So, where to go from here. As I know what you said. Thanks
