I knew NPR was trash back in 2016 when they did a segment with kid journalists and the kids would tell you what the policies were for the candidates running for president but would refused to give their personal opinions of the candidates themselves even though they were asked a dozen times. The NPR "journalist" said "oh I dunno how you can not speak up with someone like Trump running". I remember thinking how awesome the kids were and how absolute trash NPR was. I used to listen every day while riding the bus. That was the last time I listened to NPR.
