Louisville police released new video on Thursday that was captured on a nearby pole camera, showing a portion of an incident between officers and pro-golfer Scottie Scheffler last week outside of Valhalla Golf Course at the PGA tournament.

At one point in the video, an officer appears to run after Scheffler's SUV and swing at the driver's window, before reaching, opening the door and arresting Scheffler.

The Louisville Police Department said the officer, identified as Bryan Gillis, was dragged by the car before he appears on video chasing it; however, that part of the incident is blocked from view by buses.

Gillis had his body-worn camera off at the time of the incident and had been reprimanded, according to the Louisville police chief.

where is the "dragging" and "lurching onto the vehicle for 10 or so yards while injuring himself and ruining his $80 pants beyond repair"???? I didn't see any of that. I saw a stationary car and a hyper cop acting crazily ouside of the drivers side window. If he LIED about all of this (the police officer that is) this could get UGLY FAST! Cop thinks he's being smart by not turning on body cam. Proves he's an idiot be forgetting all the other dashcams and city street cams are on. Maybe he had thoughts of suing a professional golfer when he made all those claims. If I was his superior I'd demand he stand up in front of the press and give a public apology for his lies. Scheffler had to face the press...so should the cop.

It appears the cop hits the door glass with his right hand. That's probably what caused his "wrist" injury. I didn’t see any violation of the law from Scottie.

Newscaster conveniently omitting that the officer ran up to the car, and was not dragged. And then women mentions "push and pull" which signifying Scheffler struggled with officer. No proof of this. Obviously newscaster was trying to support the police version instead of what was really unfolding before our eyes
