Excel tutorial on 2 ways to pull data from a website into Excel without copying it.

We'll first scrape all data from a webpage using the Get External Data option. We'll then pull specific tables from the same website by creating a query using Get & Transform (aka, Power Query) to pull the data.

That is one of my favorite tools in Excel: the import data from Web. Saves me from copying, pasting, and reformatting. 😁

I usually end the connection after I import the data since I don't need it to be refreshed. The only problem I've run into so far is that, like you said, not all websites allow you to import their tables.

Another nice video. Easy to understand and follow along.

this does not work for me. For one it is saying there are "script errors" for two it is not allowing me to click the import button.
