To anyone out there. At 31 im just finding my passion for the ocean. I had a fear of water for so long yet it still interested me. It is NEVER to late to find and start a different way of life. Don’t let your fears hold you back forever Good luck to you all and have a beautiful life.

Trying to figure out what I want to do as a career is confusing - It's hard for me to find a passion! But I am happy for people who do find their's.

What sealed the deal for me at aiming to be a marine biologist is the ocean man himself, Jotaro

I'm a young aspirering marine biologist, I've loved the water and beauty's of the ocean ever since I laid eyes on it. I always feel like its a calling to work in this type of field and videos such as this one are really helpful and encouraging. I hope there's a place for me in the future and I'm ready for some serious commitment!

My 4 year old wants to be a Marine Biologist; since she was a baby she had an unnatural love for water, even once when she nearly drowned at age 2 she still loves the water and being in it. Unlike most babies she was uninterested in the baby first tv shows, but could sit through a whole documentary about the sea. Her love for nature and water is uncommon for her age, and how well she’s remembered she the name of the animals in those documentaries is amazing. As her mother I’m just here to build on her interests and try to make her dreams come true, if those dreams shift I’m here for it, as of now it’s swim lessons, and aquarium visits.

This was one of my passionate subjects too; but sadly I went into banking for the higher pay. Now at 50, with multiple properties and a sizable networth, I constantly think about whether I made the right decision. I make peace with myself by saying to myself, I now can allow my children to pursue their passion when choosing a career, and not be dictated by society's common yardstick for success, which is how much money one makes.

When I was a kid, I really wanted to be a marine biologist... I concluded that I could never become one once I entered highschool, because I was really bad at math, and the sciences (mainly physics and chemistry..I enjoyed biology though). Though looking back, sometimes I wished I pursued it anyways (because if I'm passionate enough about it, then I can achieve it, no matter how much work it took).

Hi, I am 14 yrs old rn. I started to love science when I was in 5th. From 7th, my ambition was to be a marine biologist after watching many marine biology videos. I used to love to research on the things I got interested in, like sharks, corals etc.. However my family and relatives said me to wait as they thought that I was saying simply and that I would change my mind soon. But now, I m in 9th, I really haven't changed my mind about it. I have learned soo hard till now, and I will continue to.. I just want to be a marine biologist like you! I have come here looking for videos related to taking marine biology as a career, and you have been such a great inspiration to me ma'am. I really hope someday my dream will come true...!!

Ever since I was 6 or 7 I would draw whales and sharks everywhere, I had a lot of books about marine biology back then and I enjoyed memorizing the Latin names of those animals and reading about their behavior, when I was in middle school I would do every school project about marine biology, now I'm in the last few months of high school being specialized in chemical and biological sciences, and every time a teacher mentions anything that has to do with zoology or marine biology I feel my heart beating faster than normal. I love it, and as I said, I'm about to finish high school but I don't know what to do because the only university where I can study marine biology is 4 hours away from my home and if I were to go there I'd get no sleep at all XD

I've loved and found the most comfort in the ocean and marine animals my whole life, but what made me finally decide to become a marine biologist was a recent trip to SeaWorld, I got hyperfixated on (free, wild) orcas and eventually the whole subject of marine biology, and I've been determined to go that route since

Marine biology has been my dream since I was literally 6 years old.
I fell in love with what the ocean has when sir David Attenborough introduced me to that world.
