Kiely Rodni's body found, volunteer group claims

The body of missing Truckee teenager Kiely Rodni has allegedly been found in her vehicle submerged in water near where she disappeared two weeks ago, dive team Adventures with Purpose announced. The group's announcement had not been confirmed by law enforcement.

Adventures With Purpose is an amazing dive team that has travelled the country, locating many missing people/cars under water. Jared is all heart and his team gives it their all. If you ever wanted a worth place to donate, AWP is the place. They have found countless people in the last 2 years, free of charge and run on contributions/donations. Sad ending to a sad story. I have an aunt and uncle that live in Truckee, and have been there for over 50 years. Yes, everything is kept silent. My uncle, I’m not gonna give his name, is an attorney in that area. He said this is all suspicious, and not the first time things have been covered up. Kiely’s mother and stepfather are not innocent people. Do ur own investigation. I have a feeling they, and no wasn’t told this, that they helped provide with the alcohol. They are not gonna admit to it cause they could go to jail for that very reason. It’s time for Truckee parents to stop providing for their kids. Otherwise, this could happen next year or the year after.

KCRA is doing a live video from the chopper and there’s no way she shouldn’t have been found 2 weeks ago. The car is close to the camp site, right where her phone last pinged, close to the shore, only under 14 ft of water, in crystal clear water. You can see it clear as day. Placer/Nevada county logged 9000 man hours tho??? Did they not fly a chopper or drone over the water, were the dive teams only wanting to wade? It’s really frustrating when you see where she was

Law enforcement up there is a joke. All those hours and tax dollars wasted, they made that family wait for two weeks because they’re clueless. The car should have been found in a day like these guys did. Sheriff should resign in disgrace.

Now her so called friends should be scared!! No wonder they didn't want to speak on her and making up stories telling the news!!! I hope there is charges and prison time for all involved and said nothing!!!! Prayers for her family

Her called best friend Sammy, asked for a ride to other friend bc Kiely was too drunk, but never thought to take care of her best friend, take her keys, call somebody for help, or take Kiely with her so BOTH get home safe,

May she rest in peace parents I don't know what it's going to take for you to wake up and realize that your kid is not an adult your kid is a kid into their 25 years old you allow your kids to go to parties at 16 where there's Weed and Alcohol being so passed around and then she doesn't know the roads and drives right into a lake that is sad sometime I want to blame the parents but then I understand parents trying to do a lot of pressure we just need to do it better job of letting our kids know sometime what is good is not good what is fun it's not fun and at the end of the day you live to see another day I'm so sad because she's 16 and I have a son that just turned 17 and I don't know what word I would have to say to my other half that my kid is at the bottom of a lake may she rest in peace and let this be a lesson to parents wake up and stop being their best friend and be a parent just say no
