Concise, informative video, Robert. I have a A6000 and use pano when I can. Learned a couple of new things here. When using it I adopt a stance facing where I expect to finish, then twist my body back to the starting point. I find this helps to maintain a smooth sweep.

Brilliant as always. No slather, just concisely tells us how to do it. Great videos, thanks

Thank you!   Last night I tried  pano on the A6000 for the first time and I kept getting the errors described with only one image completing (with the tail end grey as you showed.)  One thing that I think might have made it more difficult is I was on a tripod and was trying to get the image by turning the camera on the tripod (I made that adjustment on the tripod loose enough so it would move.)  Actually watching you do it helps give me an idea of the appropriate speed.

Hi Robert, Thanks for showing the panoramas on this sony. i wonder if you notice any lines or any appearance where merging the pictures are not so seamless. i knew android phones do less than satisfying stitching images in comparison to more seamless panorama on iphones. So far i put telephoto on my camera and as for panoramic shots i use my iphone.

Thanks Robert for all these sony 6000 vids.. they are perfect...had 1 quick question... can you use non native lenses in panorama mode?  love to use some of my wide angles with adapter... thanks again ... Corey

I took some pics today for this and I found the shutter speed was only 125. It did take good pictures, but I did get some blurring in the depth of field being poor. If I was taking a picture over houses I found my depth of field was killed as well. the picture was taking in a bright sunny sky. thanks

I would set it to long mode and to move down and then make a panorama in portrait position. Looks waay better imo.

Is it possible to take two panoramic shots one higher one lower and stitch together to give more depth ?

Does the panorama mode automatically shut off OSS or provide another compensation to prevent blurring at the beginning and end of the sweep, as commonly occurs with image stabilization?

Is it possible to take a panorama with HDR, this will allow equal exposure of the dark and light areas.?
