Hi Leon,
My dad died yesterday from alcoholism. Worked his entire life to retire comfortably but squandered it in under 3 years of heavy drinking. Last night I drank the last beer in his fridge and I’ll never touch the stuff again.

I quit almost 3 years ago, life really isn’t better, I’ll be honest there’s no joy in it, and my whole mindset isn’t exactly better, I just have clear spite for people, and complete disdain for the hypocrites that still drink and try to pretend theyre superior

The thumbnail is deceiving. I thought it would address the red eyes. Thats what my brothers eye looked like before he ended up in the hospital. For his case, it turned out he had 4 contacts in one eye. But he was drunk all the time, didnt even know he put them there.

In my lifetime; I spent a season in hell. Yesterday; I celebrated 9 years of continued sobriety. I did not go to an AA meeting to receive a chip. I will never forget what it was like to live in hell....I am not going back!
