In this video, I'm going to talk about Squad Busters and the 3 Major Issues that the game has. Squad Busters is Supercell's newest game, and it brings characters from Brawl Stars, Clash, and their other games into one game! Squad Busters is actually pretty fun, but I believe there are 3 core issues that need to be fixed before Squad Busters can go global.

Honestly the concept for the game was great having all the characters in the game. Supercell may not be perfect, but they still do their very hardest to create a fun game

I think one thing that might help a little is organising character types. Different characters would come under one of three different colours (Blue, Red, and Yellow/Green), with the random pull from chests consisting of one of each. The colours are displayed with their role, such as 'Attacker', 'Defender', 'Supplier', which is already present in the game.

The big issues I had with squadbusters were that the game was a bit too random (and unlike clash mini, there is not really any way to manipulate the RNG), rerolls costing in game currency, random boxes including characters you haven’t unlocked yet and the progression system being a bit too confusing
The gameplay is incredibly unique and character diversity is stellar, but those are big issues they can’t ignore
And I have a pretty bad feeling that teaming may become an issue in the future, but maybe they’ll find a way around this

The randomness of the character choices will probably not change. This is a pretty core mechanic of a lot of deck builders. The purpose is usually to see how good you are at making the best with what you're given. This works fine for a single player game like Slay the Spire but for a multiplayer game like this, it does cause some balancing issues. But again, I'll be surprised if they change it.

What I would love about this game would be that on the main screen where the characters walk in that space, each one would have their own personalized house (or better: their own domain) that is upgraded as you upgrade the specific character. I would instal the game just for that.

I think we can conquer the randomness by adding groups of characters when oppening a chest, you would choose a group like brawl stars and then 3 random characters from brawl stars would appear, when you choose clash royale then 3 from clash royale. That would actually make it so you need to understand what some characters do and it would add a skill cap to the game

What if they still had 3 random squad members in the chests but you get to pick which ones appear in the chests? That way it keeps the random factor but tones it down by allowing players to select only the squad members they want to use. Maybe limit it to a minimum of 3 though so no one can just pick the busted Witch and spawn tons of skeletons

I think a good way to fix the first issue that you mentioned is how common the brawler rarities appear in the chests. When I saw other YouTubers playing the game, there were times where an Epic or an Rare character didn't appear at all in their chests. Also, I find it frustrating that the starter character has to be pre-selected by random. Here are my ideas:

When you choose your starter, you can choose it among any common character that you currently have, instead of pre-selected. This way, you have a clear idea on how to start your strategy;
For every two chests that you open, a Rare character(s) appears in the chest to choose and for every 4 chests, an Epic character(s) appear in the chest to choose. The numbers can be adjusted, but it would give players a more understanding of how to build their squad and have a balance between Common, Rare and Epic characters when building their squad

Major problem for me is that gameplay is basically battle simulator watching AI battling each other. You stop and have no impact and how we play characters is boring. :(

I have a suggestion for more interesting pvps i call it : SQUAD LEADER.
ok so for this they need to add two more buttons
The 1st button will help in switching the squad leaders among your squad
The second button will be an attack button.
Let's get to how this is gonna work
So one of the issue you mentioned is that you can't attack while you are still
So you have a squad leader let's say Shelly
All of your squad members will follow her and your joystick will be controlling her i.e. the squad leader
Rest squad will be following her
When you are still the whole squad will attack
When you need to run, you move your squad leader but now you can attack the enemy from a distance by using the attack button
The supremacy of leader is that only it can attack while.moving
So the attack button is only for leader and while it's moving
P .s. you can switch leader anytime you want i.e. no cool down of anything. The leader will be pointed out by a cursor and the switch button will show the face of the leader making it look cool (like a face on the brawler option menu in BS)


#2 (unleash button)
There would be a small box on the upper left side which will tell us which squad member has charged it's super
But it won't use until you command them
You can use it Either by making
them the squad leader and using attack button or by using the
unleash button which will use all the supers collected







Unleash button will unleash all the supers charged in your squad




How this is gonna help ?


More fun PvP and not wastage of supers
The problem of not giving damage while moving (you can atleast give a chip damage )
Choosing squad leader wisely will make it more compatible



Like it as much as you can do that Kairos can see it

One idea for improving player choice is allowing the player to pick like 8-10 characters they can get from chests before the game even starts, so that there is still an adaptability but there is choice involved and pre-game strategy.

I think that 2 characters that work together might make a better experience playing the game. For example, the barbarian might work well with El primo, and el primo might work well with hogrider or something. Do that with all the charectars to make a full circle. This will make character selection more strategic and make the PVP aspect more fun.

A good solutions for a super button to avoid the multiple super buttons could be having a swap character button that changes your focus onto a different character and then you can use that character’s super, and maybe even puts that character into the front of your squad

The game seems great! However, I have a few suggestions. (By the way I have played the game)

First being remove the rarities. Hear me out, instead of rarities, just fully swap them out for each character's respective class, giving each character an incentive to keep. Because right now, most commons probably aren't going to be as good.

Second, make a pre-built squad feature before hand of 11 characters, and you get to choose the formation and layout of it. For example, I can put El Primo at the front, since he's a tank, and greg in the middle/back, as he gathers resources. Then, in the game, you unlock one character each time you "upgrade, " and once you get all your characters, you level up a certain type of character for every upgrade onward.

Third, make an endless mode. Think of a mode that gets harder as it goes on, like it would be great! I can see how many rounds of stages I can get through without dying, and you get rewards based on how far you got!

i think they should make chests into something completely different, i think you should go up to the chest, interact with it, then there should be a scroll menu, each rarity (or based on how strong the character is) should cost a different amount of gold, that would completely remove the randomness. Also the combat could completely be changed if they made maybe 2 or 3 different "Heros" you can pick these at the the start of the match, those three you can choose whenever you want to use their abilities, then you get minions, they can all be designed the same into a certain color based on the person (so if there are 10 different players in the game they each get a diff color) those minions can be upgraded at my theoretical chests. yes it completely changes the what they have here but that is just something i came up with on the spot.

Well said. If Supercell can properly further develop the game and solve these issues, then I'm sure Squad Busters will be successful. This is only an early version, so if they decide to improve the game I'm sure future updates will make it better.
