Snorkeler in Florida Gets a Surprising Hug from an Unexpected Friend!

A snorkeler in Florida was a little surprised when something grabbed onto her leg and wouldn’t let go - but it was just a friendly fella looking for a hug!

Manatees basically can’t be mean because they never developed aggression. Manatees are nice and just want love 🥹

Kendra gets to swim around manatees regularly, and she knows that since they’re federally protected, she can’t hug them back (which must be very difficult).

I used to have a little duck friend named Michael who was very similar to Elvis. When some Canada geese got wind of the fact that I brought mealworms for Michael, they tried to join in as well. Michael ended up doing a funny little dance to scare them all away. What a fun guy

I was born and raised in Florida. I moved in 2016. Back then I had a neighbor who is a Vietnam veteran and loves to fish. He would take cabbage with him to feed the manatees. I'm not sure when the policy changed where you can't touch them started? They are adorable gentle giants though. Also earlier this year I saw a video of two kittens just sitting on the back of an alligator floating in the water. There were some people in the comments who expressed their doubts that the video was real. But I 100% believe that video of the capybara riding the alligator is real. That made me laugh and was my first laugh of the day. Also it was good to learn about Elvis the fish. I may have to follow his adventures on Instagram.
