I love this intro because we see how Chucky is "reborn". Its almost like he was never destroyed to begin with. The craftsman makes Chucky "Brand New" again.

I know this is a horror movie but the way they rebuild chucky is really satisfying

I was intrigued they brought this repair scene back in Bride of Chucky. Here, the Good Guy doll is still at its peak with the company able to save itself from negative publicity. Bride of Chucky came off where he was repaired with a new look hinting that the company was dead after the events of Child's Play 3.

Is it strange to anyone but me that the torso of the doll has electronics and wiring and everything, however they just stuck on the head and limbs which didn't seem to have any electrical connections at all?

One of the best opening scenes. Showing a closeup of Chucky's remains from the first film. Him being rebuilt again. Also one of my favorite sequels. They don't make movies like this anymore. People don't believe in possessions, ghosts, spirits. That's why Andy's being blamed for.

I like how in the opening shot of the doll eye, you can see an actual hole in the false pupil, representing while it is far dormant, Charles' soul still resides within. The iris has reverted back to it's abstract pattering but it still retains depth.
